Over a period of two months, he built the sculptures out of locally-sourced wood and clay. These pieces are inspired by Mayan architecture and traditional craftsmanship, giving visitors a deeper insight into the area’s culture.

What Does the Ahau Theme Park Include?

The Ahau Tulum Sculpture Park opened on October 15th and features 30 sculptures that stand between 3 to 6 meters tall. These life-size figures were created by world renown artist Daniel Popper and are made from stainless steel, bronze, and other metals.
