Michael Bayley, the President and Chief Executive of Royal Caribbean International, affirmed the company’s intent to launch its largest and most sophisticated ship in January 2024.

The ship is programmed to navigate towards the Mexican coastline. This substantial marine construct is designed to accommodate 5,610 passengers and 2,350 crew members. It will incorporate 16 pools, 20 decks, and 40 bars and restaurants, including a full-scale waterpark comprising 6 slides, making it the largest on any cruise ship.

Notably, the ship will be the first in the Royal Caribbean International fleet to operate on liquefied natural gas, making it the most eco-friendly cruise ship to date. Utilizing fuel cell technology, it will produce its own electricity and freshwater, highlighting the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
